Biergarten

Last week we had lunch at Biergarten.  This is a German themed buffet, which features a band playing at times throughout the dining.  People are seated in long tables, which means you may be dining with other families.

The food is fantastic, and fairly affordable by Disney standards.  Our bill for two adults and one child, before tip, came to $54.  This did include a 10% discount because we are annual passholders.

There is a wide variety of food.  There are many cold offerings, from macaroni salad, potato salad, and several other types of salads.  There is a carving station, and a large selection of warm foods.  Schnitzel, roasted chicken, German meatballs, several different sausages, sauerkraut, and more are featured.  Dessert has strudel, Bavarian cheesecake, Black Forest cake, and more.

Our favorites were the warm potato salad, red cabbage, meatballs, and schnitzel, though I don't think there was anything bad.  My five year old loved trying all of the different foods.  He is an adventurous eater, but even picky eaters have choices.

My son loved the band, and he asked that I go with him to dance when the band invited people up to the dance floor.

With many Disney restaurants it can be difficult to get a reservation, but I have not yet experienced a problem getting one for here, and walk-ups are not uncommon.  The food is great and it is such a fun experience.  I highly recommend trying this.
