However, when guests enter it starts to resemble The Seas with Nemo & Friends. Both rides are dark, slow moving rides that take place underwater. They also have the same ride vehicles.
The ride takes guests through the story of The Little Mermaid, and fans should recognize several of the scenes from the movie. It is a nice ride, and even though I have a four-year-old son, he really enjoyed the ride too.
It is a nice addition to the Magic Kingdom, and although it is similar to the Nemo ride in Epcot, it is different enough to warrant a visit. The only downside is that it is a popular ride right now, so I would get a Fastpass (machines are located near Mickey's Philharmagic). The standby ride time was 40 minutes, but we were on in less than five because of the Fastpass.
What are your thought on this ride? Do you think that Disney did a good job, or do you feel they could have offered more than a re-themed Nemo?
